Where I stay?

Tanglin Halt is an old HDB housing estate. Recently, HDB has just completed a new project here comprises of Studio Apartments, 3-, 4- and 5-room flats from three 40-storey apartment blocks totals more than 1000 units. This is where I stay now, it is near to essential transport services and amenities like the Commonwealth MRT Station, and Tanglin Halt Neighbourhood Centre.
Tanglin Halt, by Taxi, You can tell the driver the address but will probably have less confusion if you tell him the address and then say, "Tanglin Halt Ten Story".

It is now called "Tanglin Halt Forty Story", as my son said. As previously we stayed at "10th story" in Tanglin Halt, and now the blocks are 40 stories high.

There was once a halal chicken rice shop that was made famous in here, it has shifted elsewhere when the coffee shop upgraded and demand a higher rent. What a waste! The other good food here is peanut pancake (ming jiang kueh) in Tanglin Halt market, once you eat a bite into it, you'll be hooked.
